Man of the Match: Archie Lovegrove
Wilton Town produced somewhat of an upset on Saturday with a thrilling performance against their 5th placed visitors which saw them claim an emphatic win in great style.
Town started the game with seven 16 year olds and were straight onto the front foot which they were never going to relinquish thru the whole match. After last weeks disappointment it was great to see the young Town side bounce back in great fashion. The young legs of Town were causing the away side early problems with their energy and pace but took the lead after 10 mins when Ady Hale long throw was flicked on by Frankie Kerry which was helped in by a defender. Wilton Town entertained table toppers and unbeaten Box Rovers on Saturday and looked as though a major shock could be on the cards before Town went down to ten and Box showed their class and run out comfy and deserved winners.

All of Towns 16 year olds played a full game on Saturday and after a great effort were desperately unlucky not to get something from the game and showed what great strides they are making in senior football.

Wilton Town took a long away trip to Gloucestershire on Saturday in a close game where the result was not to change after the first five minutes as Towns inability to hit the net proved costly.

Wilton Town produced a much improved performance to earn a well deserved point on Saturday against 5th placed Intel from Swindon on a sweltering day at the meadows.
Today Ben Cooper left Wilton Town FC for a career in the army.
We would like to wish Ben all the best for the future and stay safe where ever the army take you.
