Wilton Town exited the Wilts cup in the second round after a defeat on Saturday which saw Town play the better football and dominate a lot of the game but got no reward for thier efforts.

Town started the game in good fashion carrying on from last weeks win but found themselves a goal down after 10mins when some sloppy defending allowed Keynes a free header six yards out to give them the lead. Town were straight back into the game and playing some really nice football with Ady Hale and Steve Burgess bosssing the midfield. Town had a great chance to equalise when Archie Lovegrove showed some great feet inside the box only to be denied by a great fingertip save by the Keynes keeper. Continue reading →

Wilton Town entertained table toppers and unbeaten Box Rovers on Saturday and looked as though a major shock could be on the cards before Town went down to ten and Box showed their class and run out comfy and deserved winners.

All of Towns 16 year olds played a full game on Saturday and after a great effort were desperately unlucky not to get something from the game and showed what great strides they are making in senior football.
